If there’s one thing I know, it’s that I can’t pull off a beanie quite like Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What, but I’ll sure as hell try. Not only do I think it’s a good look, it’s actually extremely necessary for the brutal NYC winter months. I’ve already shared my thoughts on the cold with you here, and guys, you’ll probably hear me complain like, 8 thousand more times. Sorry in advance.

Snow is really pretty…when you don’t have to trek to work in it every day of January, February, and let’s be honest, even March. End rant.

Not only does winter dressing bring the good ol’ beanie, it also brings coats. And if you’re anything like me, that means lots and lots of coats. I snagged this black & white coat from Buffalo Exchange last week and was super impressed with my find. Literally, I followed the coat that was ridding in a cart from the front of the store to the back where it was then being tagged. I annoyed the sales associate juuust enough to move the coat up in the tagging queue so that I could get my hands on it. Mission accomplished. I decided I’d try it on for her so we could have that bonding moment of like, see you helped me for a good reason!

It’s fine, I’m annoying and I know it.

Moral of the story here is that obsessed isn’t quite strong enough of a word to describe my feelings towards Buffalo Exchange. Second hand shopping in general is my JAM. Buy, sell, trade – all about that life.

A few places I frequent online for second hand goods (and you totally should too):
